Employees of the Russian FSB directorate for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol detained a Russian citizen on suspicion of publicly calling for the murder of law enforcement officers. This was reported on March 6 at the FSB Public Relations Center.

The investigative Department of the FSB opened a criminal case against the man under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for extremist activities committed using the Internet").
