The kindergarten building in the Kievsky district of Donetsk was damaged as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU). This was announced on Thursday, March 6, by the head of the city district Alexey Kulemzin.

"The damage is significant: glazing has been broken in a number of apartment buildings, and the kindergarten building has also been damaged," he wrote on his Telegram channel, adding that temporary measures are being taken to close the heating circuit of houses and clean up the territory.

A correspondent for Izvestia reported that windows from floors 1 to 14 were broken in one of the apartment buildings, and as a result of the nighttime shelling, the glazing in a number of apartment buildings was completely knocked out.

"Three people received shrapnel wounds, they are now in hospitals, they are receiving all necessary assistance," he said.

The injuries of three civilians in Donetsk were reported earlier on Thursday. It was clarified that women born in 1959 and 1976, as well as a man born in 1963, were injured.

The day before a man was killed when an APU drone struck a truck in Gorlovka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Ukrainian military attacked a truck in the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka.
