WSJ reported on Trump's plan to abolish the US Department of Education

The President USA Donald Trump plans to issue a decree on March 6 eliminating the country's Ministry of education. This was reported on March 5 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

"President Trump is expected to issue a decree on Thursday aimed at abolishing the Ministry of Education," the newspaper reported, citing sources.

At the same time, it is claimed that the draft decree that has already been prepared requires the current Minister of Education, Linda McMahon, who was appointed on March 4, to "take all necessary steps to facilitate the closure" of her department.

According to administration officials, the president plans to sign a decree on the elimination or drastic reduction of several federal advisory committees. Prior to that, on January 21, Trump signed a decree that prohibits officials from adopting new regulations until his administration establishes "full control" over the federal government.
