This spring, during the school holidays, the share of those who plan to travel to Russia has increased to 53%. This was announced on Thursday, March 6, according to a study by OneTwoTrip.

According to the study, the results of which were reviewed by "Newspaper.Ru", in 35% of cases tourists with children choose four-star hotels. Of this number, 49% of bookings do not include meals.

Sochi became the most popular city for spring holidays — about 21% of bookings were made to this destination. This is followed by St. Petersburg with a share of 13.3% and Moscow — 11.7%. Russian tourists also plan to visit Esto-Sadok, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Svetlogorsk and Nizhny Novgorod.

Earlier, on February 23, experts from the OneTwoTrip travel planning service told Izvestia about popular spring destinations. According to their information, Russians are more likely to choose Sochi, Lake Ladoga and Dagestan for recreation. Among the foreign destinations, experts singled out Egypt, Japan and Turkey.
