On Wednesday, March 5, about 50 pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrated at the library of the private Barnard College for Women in New York. This was announced on Thursday, March 6, by the TV channel. href="https://www.cbsnews.com/newyork/news/pro-palestinian-demonstrators-occupy-barnard-college-library/"> CBS News with reference to the police.

"NYPD officers eventually cleared the building after an explosion threat was received," the publication says.

It is specified that several arrests have been made, but it is not yet known exactly how many.

Earlier, on March 4, the president USA Donald Trump announced the termination of funding for educational institutions that allow illegal protests. According to him, the agitators will be imprisoned or permanently sent to the country from which they came. Students, in turn, will be expelled from the educational institution, and in some cases, arrested.
