Anapa children's camps and sanatoriums asked to support them

Anapa children's recreation camps and sanatoriums need help with loading this season and employment support measures after an emergency with a fuel oil spill. Representatives of the facilities told Izvestia about this.
The utilization of the Diluch sanatorium in Anapa for the summer is now only 20%, whereas a year earlier during this period it was 60-70%, said Marina Protsepova, Deputy General Director for Sales.
"The situation is quite precarious, because all contracts with enterprises have been cancelled, and this is 40% of the summer period load. It is unlikely to load such a scale by individuals, therefore the situation is difficult," she noted.
Permission from Rospotrebnadzor will be required to open the bathing season, she recalled.
According to her, support measures are needed to maintain employment.
"They didn't leave us in the covid-19, and we hope they won't leave us now. The ideal option would be subsidies for staff retention, because we have a city-forming enterprise, employing 550 people. And the main expense item is the salary fund," Protsepova said.
The Zhemchuzhina Rossiya Children's Sanatorium and wellness complex has already accepted the first shift of children and teenagers from the Krasnodar Territory, said Elena Moskvina, Deputy Director for Sales and Marketing. According to her, help is needed to load the city's camps during the summer season. According to her, this can be difficult, especially for small institutions.
At the regional level, it has already been decided to load Anapa camps with children from the region, Mikhail Zaritsky, Acting Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory, assured at an expert session of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT).
