Reuters reported on the development of a peace plan for Ukraine by France and Britain

France and Britain hope to develop a peace plan for Ukraine in the coming days. This was reported on March 4 by Reuters.
It is clarified that French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer held several separate telephone conversations with the American leader Donald Trump and the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. The agency stressed that the break in relations between The United States and Ukraine have given new urgency to the efforts of the two European nuclear powers to combine ideas for a peace plan which would initially provide for a short-term truce, but would eventually include broader security guarantees.
The details of the plan were not disclosed, but, according to the European diplomat, the leaders intend to complete the military aspects within the next week.
At the same time, the interlocutor noted that one of the options is a partial truce for a period of one month, which will cover attacks from the air and sea, as well as attacks targeting energy infrastructure, but not ground battles, which will be supported by France, Great Britain and a coalition of other countries willing to do so.
Earlier in the day, the French leader said he intended to discuss the use of nuclear weapons in order to protect the entire European Union (EU). Macron also called on the EU to provide itself with the largest amount of military equipment and build up defense capabilities "for the sake of peace itself." In addition, he said that next week in Paris will be a meeting of the chiefs of the General Staffs of the Armed Forces (AF) of several countries, which will be devoted to discussions on Ukraine.
