In Greece, protesters gathered outside the country's parliament and clashed with police. This was reported on March 5 by the news portal "Нафтемпорики".

"Thousands of protesters clashed with the use of tear gas and stun grenades, as a result of which the rally dispersed. Two people who felt unwell were taken away by ambulances. However, despite the release of chemicals, people seem to be returning to the parliament building," the website says.

It is reported that the protests were timed to coincide with the introduction of a vote of no confidence in the government. The participants also demanded an investigation into the train disaster that occurred two years ago, which killed 57 people.

According to reports, a group of unidentified hooded provocateurs incited the protesters to riot. They are currently being pursued by the police.

"According to police, after the end of the speeches and the beginning of the gradual withdrawal of the demonstrators, a group of people in the lower part of Syntagma Square, in particular on Filelinon and Mitropoleos streets, set fire to garbage cans and threw molotov cocktails, stones and flares at the police, who responded by using chemicals," the portal reports.

At the same time, deputies from opposition parties criticized the police and the government for using chemical agents to disperse the protesters.

On February 28 in Greece at Constitution Square in Athens in front of the parliament building a crowd gathered for an action dedicated to the anniversary of the train collision in Tempi in 2023 a year. After some time, the action escalated into clashes between protesters and police. The protesters began throwing Molotov cocktails, and the police responded with stun grenades.
