- The media learned about Zelensky's attempt to deceive Trump with irrelevant settlement ideas

The President Of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky tried to deceive his American counterpart Donald Trump's irrelevant ideas about a truce in the Black Sea and the rejection of strikes on energy facilities. This was announced on Wednesday, March 5, by the TV channel RT with a link to the source.
"These topics have long been irrelevant and can only be considered in the general context of the settlement. These are not suggestions or a response to Trump. This, as usual with Zelensky, is an attempt to deceive Trump and cast a shadow over the fence. It won't work," the channel's source said.
He recalled that the idea of a truce in the Black Sea was discussed in 2023 during the conclusion of the grain deal, the terms of which were not respected by Ukraine in relation to Russia.
So, the source noted that the head of the Kiev regime does not really put forward new proposals and does not take into account the interests of Moscow.
In addition, he stressed that Zelensky's proposal to abandon strikes on energy infrastructure facilities is also not new and was rejected by the Ukrainian side at the time.
On the same day, the newspaper Politico reported that after Trump came to power in the United States, European Union (EU) officials began to talk about creating an autonomous defense system from the United States, as well as href="https://iz.ru/1849502/2025-03-06/v-es-vnov-podcherknuli-neobkhodimost-finansirovat-vooruzhenie-ukrainy">about self-help Ukraine is in conflict. So, on March 6, an extraordinary EU summit is scheduled, one of the topics of which will be €800 billion for Kiev.
