In the second and third readings, the State Duma of Russia adopted a law regulating the allocation of land plots to citizens and organizations whose land property has suffered as a result of natural and man-made emergencies, as well as military operations. Information about the relevant decision on March 5 was published on the website of the lower house.

According to the decision of the State Duma, citizens now have the opportunity to receive a land plot for free for the second time if the previously provided one became impossible to use due to emergencies or military operations.

"The right of ownership of a citizen to a land plot belonging to him, the use of which is impossible in accordance with its intended purpose and permitted use due to hostilities and (or) natural and man—made emergencies, remains," the document says.

At the end of February, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the law on the extension of the maternity capital program until December 31, 2030. Amendments have been made to the law "On additional measures of State support for families with children." Prior to this, it was stated that these measures would give approximately 5 million Russian families the right to receive maternity capital from 2027 to 2030.
