Dmitry Anikin, a hockey player of the Khabarovsk hockey club SKA-Neftyanik, was taken off the ice by ambulance during the Russian Championship playoff match with Nizhny Novgorod Star. This was announced by the player's hockey club.

"Dmitry Anikin was seriously injured in the collision. The player is being taken away by an ambulance," the SKA—Neftyanik publication says on Telegram.

The 24-year-old Anikin collided with his opponent in the 65th minute of the game. After the fall, the hockey player could not get up. They tried to provide Anikin with the necessary assistance on the spot, but the ambulance still had to follow him onto the ice.

The match continued after a short pause.
