VDNKh, parks, museums and libraries in Moscow have prepared a program for International Women's Day. It will be held from March 6 to March 9. Excursions, lectures, quizzes, master classes, flower races and a spring festival are waiting for residents and guests of the capital, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the city.

"We invite you to cultural venues where more than 400 events will be held in honor of March 8. These are film screenings, exhibitions, poetry evenings and concerts. Children will be offered to make postcards, brooches and other gifts for their mothers and grandmothers," she said.

For example, famous romances, songs and poems about love will be performed in the Central Library No. 70 named after M.A. Sholokhov on March 6. On March 7, a master class on creating paper flowers will be held at the A. Green Central Youth Library No. 122, and young musicians will also perform there.

On March 7, in Library No. 240, everyone will learn about women astronauts and their lives. There will also be a presentation of the book and illustration exhibition "Cosmic Spring" and an overview of the novelties of popular science literature.

The Slovo Museum of Slavic Writing at VDNH invites you to a thematic tour. The guides will tell you what role women have played in the development of literacy and Russian literature in Russia.

In the workshop of engineering creativity, located in the Cosmonautics and Aviation center at VDNH, children are expected to attend the master class "Flowers that will not wither." They will design brooches, print them on a 3D printer and present the resulting souvenirs to their mothers and grandmothers.

On March 8, Gorky Park will host guided tours of the Neskuchny Garden, dedicated to stories about love, balls and duels. And families will be able to take part in the quest and creative activities. And the Bauman Garden invites you to a guided tour of the exhibition of works by Salvador Dali "Flower Women". Visitors will see his illustrations and sculptures, listen to a lecture about the history of their creation and sources of inspiration.

You will need to register for some events. You can find out the schedule and conditions of the visit on the websites of the institutions.
