The United States announced a review of all aspects of relations with Ukraine

The USA is currently reviewing all aspects of its relations with Ukraine. This was announced on March 5 by Mike Waltz, Assistant to the American President for National Security.

"We have taken a step back and are pausing and reviewing all aspects of this relationship," he said. His statement was broadcast on The New York Post's YouTube channel.

In addition, Waltz informed that he had spoken by phone with his Ukrainian counterpart about a possible venue for negotiations on the settlement of the conflict and the composition of the delegations.

"We are having good negotiations regarding the location of the next round of negotiations, regarding the delegations, regarding the content," the presidential aide said.

According to him, we should expect a favorable development of events soon.

Ukraine has expressed readiness for dialogue with the United States, but the Kiev regime remains self-barred from contacts with Moscow.

On the same day, Waltz did not rule out resumption of assistance to Ukraine in case of success in negotiations. The Reuters news agency reported on March 4 that the White House officially confirmed the suspension of the United States military assistance to Ukraine.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, in turn, noted that Washington may resume arms supplies to Kiev in case of signing an agreement on rare earth metals. He expressed the opinion that, against the background of its decision, the American administration wants to see how Ukraine will behave.
