The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) will analyze the state of competition in the raw milk market. The service has sent requests to more than 90 manufacturers, the antimonopoly authority reported on March 5.

"Organizations must provide information on the main indicators of financial and economic activities for the production and sale of raw milk: the system, regions and sales volumes, as well as information on weighted average selling prices, cost and profitability of products for 2022-2024,— the FAS explained.

Based on the data obtained, the agency will assess the state of competition in order to identify economic entities that occupy a dominant position in the raw milk markets, as well as analyze the validity of their wholesale prices.

If there are grounds, the service will take antitrust response measures.

Earlier, on February 21, in the Moscow Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service antitrust cases have been initiated due to the cost of drinking water in Vnukovo. It was clarified that cases had been initiated against the operator of duty-free and duty-free shops, LLC Regstar-M, on grounds of establishing monopolistically high prices for drinking water in the "sterile" areas of the airport.
