The winners of the Far East — Land of Adventure contest were awarded in Moscow

The winners of the All—Russian contest "The Far East - the Land of Adventure", which was attended by almost 700 people, were announced in Moscow. The ceremony took place on March 5 at the Rossiya National Center.

The contestants made short films about their travels in the Far East. The participants traveled dozens of kilometers on foot, by water and on dog sleds to show the beauty of the region.

"With every route you have traveled, which you have described, about which you have made a film, you open someone's eyes to the Far East of our Homeland," said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.

The "Grand Prix" for the best trip was awarded to a resident Moscow — for the video about the extinct volcano Krenitsyn on Sakhalin. He also won 3 million rubles.
