The deputies of the European Parliament (EP) from the Volt party will propose to deprive Hungary of the right to vote in the European Union (EU). This was reported on March 5 in the newspaper Politico.

MPs before the EU leaders' summit on On March 6, Ukraine will send an action plan to the heads of European countries, which includes nine points, the publication says.

According to the publication, the document will call for Hungary to be deprived of the right to vote in the EU, as well as appoint the EU's high representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Kallas, as the union's foreign minister, create a pan-European army and expand the EU's powers in the field of defense.

Earlier in the day, Politico reported that in (EU) they are afraid of disruption of the summit on Ukraine because of Hungary. According to her, European diplomats are already preparing for this.

Politico reported on March 3 on Hungary's blocking of the draft EU document on future support for Ukraine. It was noted that the text of the document describes the security guarantees that the association can provide to Kiev.
