The Dome of Donbass air defense and electronic warfare system prevented an attack by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on civilians in Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on March 5 by the regional defense headquarters.

It is specified that the "Dome of Donbass" intercepted the Switchblade-600 strike drone of the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU) on the territory of the residential quarter of the Sovetsky district of the city. The UAV crashed into a private non-residential building.

According to the DPR defense headquarters, explosives experts used special technical means to neutralize the drone and seized a live charge for subsequent destruction at the landfill.

On the night of February 26, 128 Ukrainian UAVs were launched across the regions of Russia.
