A court in Moscow fined Pinterest 12 million rubles.

Tagansky District Court Moscow has fined Pinterest photo hosting for 12 million rubles, having found guilty of an administrative offense. This was reported on March 5 in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

"Pinterest, Inc. (Pinterest, Inc.) has been found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 9 of Article 13.11 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of personal data")," the Telegram channel says.

In August 2024, it was reported that the court in Moscow fined Pinterest 7 million rubles for "Non-fulfillment of duties by the owner of the social network" (part 3 of art. 13.50 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).
