French President Emmanuel Macron announced an appeal to residents on March 5. He announced this on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
«My dear compatriots, in this time of great uncertainty, when the world is facing the most serious problems, I will address you tonight at 20:00 (22:00 Moscow time. — Ed.)," Macron wrote.
At the same time, the French leader did not specify the details of the conversation. As the TV channel notes BFMTV, the live broadcast will be conducted from the Elysee Palace.
Earlier, on January 27, the head of the National Union Party, Jordan Bardella, said that the dissolution of the French parliament is inevitable. According to him, "no one in the country is satisfied" with the consensus reached by French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou between Socialists and Republicans.
