Czech oil refineries have requested a resource from state reserves against the background of the suspension of supplies of Russian raw materials through the Druzhba pipeline. This was announced on March 5 by Pavel Kaidl, representative of Orlen Unipetrol.

"We have applied to the state administration of material reserves with a request to provide us with an oil loan," the newspaper quoted him as saying href="https://domaci.hn.cz/c1-67641380-ropa-z-druzby-znovu-netece-unipetrol-pozada-o-pujcku-z-rezerv-ropovod-tal-je-ale-pripraveny " target="_blank">Hospodarske noviny.

Kaidl stressed that currently the production of automotive fuel at Orlen Unipetrol plants is carried out in full, but the company expressed a desire to be safe in order to ensure supply without interruptions.

At the same time, it is specified that Orlen Unipetrol refineries operate without restrictions. It is noted that the Czech Republic is "well prepared for this situation."

Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Lukas Vlcek announced the suspension of Russian oil supplies via Druzhba on March 4. Then he noted that there was no shortage of raw materials for the needs of Czech companies and households.
