Moscow is positive about the words of US President Donald Trump that he received a letter from Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky stating his readiness for negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the conflict. This was announced on March 5 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
He also recalled that Zelensky's ban on negotiating with the Russian Federation remains in place.
