In Canada, an 87-year-old teacher was found guilty of seducing five schoolchildren.

According to the newspaper, the woman committed the crime in the 1980s, but these facts became known only in 2022. One of her former students contacted the police, who claimed that he had been the victim of sexual harassment by a teacher when he was in the eighth grade. Later, another former student submitted a similar application, and in 2023, three more joined them.

A former student, Baxter, said that because of the teacher's actions, he dropped out of school, suffered from depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance abuse. When he complained about the teacher's behavior to the administration of the educational institution, he was suspended from school for a week.

"She has been charged with seven counts and four counts of sexual assault," the publication says.

The court will sentence Baxter on May 20.

On January 14, a teacher from the province of Naples arrested for a series of sexual crimes against his students under the age of 14. The woman, under the pretext of additional classes, regularly showed the children pornographic materials and talked to them about sex.
