- Lukashenko urges to stop the conflict in Ukraine instead of searching for those responsible for its beginning

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called for an end to the conflict on Ukraine instead of searching for those responsible for its beginning. He stated this during an interview with American blogger Mario Naufalu, whose video was posted on BelTA's YouTube channel on Wednesday, March 5.
"This is the main thing today, not the search for the culprits. Well, let's look for the culprits for two more years, until another million people on both sides die. Is that what we need? No. We need to stop the conflict. We need to make sure that at the first stage we stop shooting at each other. After all, siblings shoot at each other. These are native people. Ukrainians and Russians are native people," he said.
According to Lukashenko, only with the coming to power of the president USA Donald Trump raised the issue of a peaceful settlement. He also called for "doing everything" to stop the conflict.
Earlier in this interview, Lukashenko said that I intend to discuss with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin a deal between the United States and Ukraine on resources. The Head of State clarified that the negotiations in Minsk could have been held "calmly, without noise, without shouting."
