Polish presidential candidate from the far-right Confederation Slawomir Mentzen called for an agreement with the Russian president Vladimir Putin on the end of the Ukrainian conflict. The politician made a corresponding statement on March 4 on the TV channel Polsat.

" We need to come to some kind of agreement with Putin to put an end to this conflict," Mentzen urged.

He also drew attention to the president's failed negotiations Of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky at the White House, as a result of which the president USA Donald Trump asked the Ukrainian leader to leave the Oval Office, and then temporarily stopped the transfer of military aid to Kiev.

According to the politician, the Ukrainian leader "was obliged to keep his cool and not let himself be thrown off balance," which in the end could not be done.

"Apparently, Trump and [US Vice President J.D.] Vance provoked him a bit and, unfortunately, they got their way. Zelensky couldn't stand it. It was his defeat," he noted.

During a meeting between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office of the White House on February 28, a verbal altercation took place. The American leader blamed his Ukrainian counterpart in a disrespectful attitude towards Washington. According to the US president, Zelensky is "playing with World War III" and is not ready to resolve the conflict.
