The Yemeni Houthi air defense forces have destroyed an American MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over Yemen. This was announced on Tuesday, March 4, by Yahya Saria, a representative of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement.
"[The UAV] violated the airspace of Yemen and carried out hostile missions in the airspace of Hodeidah province," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Saria, this is the 15th American UAV of this type, which was destroyed by the Houthis during the escalation in the Middle East.
