Zakharova was surprised by the ignorance of the Israeli Foreign Minister about the praise of Bandera in Ukraine

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on March 4 with surprise on the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Israel Gideon Saar, who said he was unaware of Stepan Bandera's praise on Ukraine.

"What do you mean? Then what is the Israeli Embassy in Kiev doing? Yes, and in Moscow too. It turns out that they have never reported the facts to the capital?" she wrote on the Telegram channel.

In her post, Zakharova also cited a number of English-language articles covering this topic "especially for the Israeli Foreign Minister."

Earlier, on February 25, Polish presidential candidate Slawomir Mentzen called for an end to the cult of Bandera in Ukraine. According to him, the monument to the nationalist leader in Lviv is a disgrace to its residents.

The next day Mentzen condemned the restoration of the museum of the Ukrainian Nazi collaborator Roman Shukhevych. He pointed out that the Polish government is sending money to the country to rebuild Lviv, and "Ukrainians are restoring a monument to the crime that killed 100,000 people."
