Earlier, on February 1, Trump signed a decree on the introduction of trade duties for goods from Canada, China and Mexico. He clarified that this measure was taken due to the fact that a large number of illegal migrants come to the United States from these countries, who, according to him, pose an immediate threat to the state, as well as narcotic substances, including fentanyl, are transported from Mexico, Canada and China to American territory.
