Three female deputies were injured during riots at the session of the Serbian Parliament

In Serbia, three female MPs were injured during a scuffle that took place during the first spring session of parliament. One of them is in the eighth month of pregnancy. This was reported on March 4 by Kurir.

So, 63-year-old Yasmina Obradovich suffered a stroke as a result of the riots that broke out. She is currently in serious condition, and doctors are providing her with the necessary care.

Yasmina Karanac was hit in the head by a stun grenade. In addition, she was sprayed with pepper spray and hit on the head with a bottle. It is noted that she received serious injuries.

The third deputy is Sonya Ilich, who is eight months pregnant. She was sent to a medical facility where doctors are fighting for her and her child.

Earlier in the day, deputies of the opposition parties lit smoke bombs and started a fight in the meeting room during the first spring session of parliament. It was clarified that the reason for the riots was the approval of the agenda, including a vote of confidence in Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic.

Commenting on the incident to Izvestia, State Duma deputy, chairman of the Council of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Eurasia Alyona Arshinova said that Serbia had fallen into a serious political crisis.
