The cause of the accident of a private light-engine aircraft in Lytkarino on June 8, 2024 was an engine shutdown due to an oil leak. This is reported in the report of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC).

"The accident with the PA-28R-201 RA-07829 aircraft occurred during an emergency landing, the need for which was caused by the engine stopping (jamming) in flight due to an oil leak," the city news agency quotes the text "Moscow".
