More than a quarter of the Russians surveyed said they would like to receive a gift of 50,000 rubles or more on International Women's Day. The majority of men (45%), in turn, plan to spend from 1 thousand to 3 thousand rubles. This is stated in the results of a study of the Mamba dating service, which were reviewed by Izvestia on March 5.

It is specified that 20% are ready to fork out up to 5,000 rubles, and 16% — up to 10,000 rubles. And only 7% can afford to pay more than 50 thousand rubles. However, women dream of more generous gestures. So, 26% would like to receive a gift more expensive than 50 thousand rubles, and 14% expect at least an amount in the range of 20 thousand – 50 thousand rubles.

At the same time, 55% of women noted that they appreciate the care and attention on a holiday. Compliments and warm words are needed by 34%, and unexpected surprises will please one in four. For 20%, the best manifestation of love is financial support. At the same time, 35% of the respondents dream of surprises, the same number dream of traveling and dating. 21% of the ladies hope to receive jewelry, 20% dream of flowers and a gift, and 14% will be happy just from spending time with their loved one. Among other things, 12% of Russians said that they expect an apartment or a car from men for a holiday.

Men believe that flowers are the best gift, this opinion was supported by 65% of the survey participants. However, only 45% of respondents really want to give them away. In addition, 18% of men said that the best gift for a woman is themselves. 14% of the respondents plan to give sex, but only 7% of women will be happy with such a gift.

The dating service also says that 39% of women are horrified by virtual postcards and bouquets, according to them, this is the worst thing you can think of. Another 35% believe that a supermarket set with shower gel and cream is corny and boring. 24% do not like faceless gifts without taking into account their tastes, and 23% are disappointed when a gift is bought at the last moment. In addition, 30% of women are annoyed by a gift "for show."
