The Finnish Foreign Ministry expressed concerns about the possible lifting of US sanctions against Russia.

"We need the Americans militarily, but especially in order to maintain sanctions pressure. The worst that can happen now is if the United States lifts sanctions and starts cooperating with Russia," Valtonen said.
