In Primorsky Krai, a man kept a human skull as a "souvenir" for 15 years


According to him, the skull was found behind the courtyard of an uninhabited house on March 3. As it turned out, the 57-year-old owner of the dwelling, who died in early 2023, kept it as a "souvenir".
"He found this skull about 15 years ago in the Buyanikha River, which flows near the cemetery of the village of Vesely Yar," the source said.
According to preliminary information, the skull was accidentally dug out of an unknown burial site while preparing the grave, after which it was drowned in a river.
The find was handed over to specialists for further examination.
Earlier, on February 20, in the Leningrad region the mummies of a man and a woman were found after a pipe burst in an apartment building. The bodies were sent to forensic experts to determine the cause of death.
