Olympic champion in cross—country skiing Sergey Ustyugov on Tuesday, March 4, won the gold medal in the classic sprint at the Russian Championships - 2025 in Kazan.

In the final, he covered the distance in 3 minutes 2.51 seconds.

Vladislav Osipov reached the finish line second, 0.75 seconds behind Ustyugov. The third place in the competition was taken by Savely Korostelov (+ 1.44 seconds).

Norwegian biathlete Johannes Boe won on February 15 the men's sprint race of the 2025 World Championships in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The athlete covered the distance in 21 minutes and 56.8 seconds, without making any mistakes on two firing lines. That's how he won his 21st gold medal at the World Championships.
