Kiev is ready to conclude a deal on minerals with Washington and create a common investment fund. This was announced on March 4 by the Prime Minister Ukraine Denis Shmyhal.

"We are looking for these opportunities for pragmatic cooperation based on economic [processes], including an agreement on the joint creation of an investment fund," Shmygal said, quoted by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN in his Telegram channel.

He indicated that Kiev is ready to sign this agreement and plans to move in this direction, working with Washington through all available diplomatic channels.

The head of government indicated that Ukraine is grateful USA for your support and I am ready to work with them. In addition, Shmyhal demanded that Washington provide security guarantees.

On the eve of March 3, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick said that the United States and Ukraine would soon sign an agreement on rare earth metals, which broke down due to the altercation of the American president Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky. The legislator drew attention to the fact that these agreements, when they are concluded, href="https://iz.ru/1848368/2025-03-04/kongressmen-ficpatrik-zaavil-o-planah-ukrainy-podpisat-soglasenie-ob-iskopaemyh"> they will contribute to a strong and long-term economic partnership Kiev and Washington.

Zelensky, in turn, said on March 2 that Ukraine is ready to sign a resource agreement with the United States, and he himself believes that he will be able to restore his relations with the American administration after the altercation in the White House.
