Switzerland has expanded the sanctions list against Russia

Switzerland, following the European Union, added 48 individuals and 35 legal entities to its sanctions list against Russia as part of the 16th package of sanctions. This was announced in a statement posted on site The Federal Council of the country.

It clarifies that the assets of new individuals and legal entities are subject to freezing and a ban on the provision of assets or economic resources. In addition, individuals are also prohibited from entering Switzerland or transiting through its territory.

These measures will take effect on March 5 at 00:00 Moscow time.
