Russian troops hit the infrastructure of military airfields and ammunition depots of the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU). This was announced on March 4 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have damaged the infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition depots in 142 districts," the statement said.

It was clarified that the Russian army also destroyed accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense stated that units of the North group of forces destroyed formations of the motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Volchansk and Liptsy, Kharkiv region. It was noted that the enemy lost two armored combat vehicles, two cars and up to 45 militants.

The agency added that during the day, the air defense forces shot down a JDAM aircraft bomb manufactured by USA and 93 aircraft-type drones.

Earlier, on March 3, units of the Zapad group of forces уничтожили Starlink satellite communication station and 24 control points for unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Air defense crews also destroyed 10 aircraft-type drones.
