The doctor told about cases of allergy diagnosis in one-year-old children


Allergy has become "younger", there are cases when it is diagnosed in one-year-old children. This was announced on March 4 by Yuri Smolkin, Scientific director of the Scientific and Clinical Advisory Center for Allergology and Immunology, President of the Association of Pediatric Allergologists and Immunologists of Russia, at the Izvestia press center during a conference on "Early Flowering: how to prepare for allergy season?".
He noted that the supervision of a specialist is necessary in order to prevent the development of bronchial asthma or hypersensitivity.
"The fate of a young child, his first years of life, is in the hands of an allergist and a pediatrician," Smolkin emphasized.
