- The servicemen reported on the test results of the installation of three PKM machine guns.

At the training ground in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the 110th Regiment is testing the installation of three upgraded Kalashnikov machine guns. Dmitry Astrakhan, a correspondent of Izvestia, told about this on March 4.
According to him, unlike many hastily made installations, this one can be brought to normal combat. There are adjusting screws on it — not just mounting machine guns, thanks to which a single point can be hit at a given distance.
In addition, the installation provides pre-mounted mounts for collimator and optical sights and for thermal imagers, which can be used to detect unmanned aerial vehicles. And three barrels and a rate of fire actually compensate for the problematic target or the lack of necessary training.
"These are Kalashnikov machine guns — PKM, PK. They are designed to take down Baba Yaga-type targets, large aircraft-type drones, and even helicopters. I think he'll just break it in half," commented the deputy commander of the 110th Armament Brigade with the call sign Shaman.
An important feature of such machines is the lack of height adjustment. At the same time, they are installed on different terrain and for shooters of different heights. In a machine tool situation, this is a very important refinement.
"Very good installation, its rate of fire is generally excellent. That is, in the fight against FPV drones with drops, I think she will show herself very well. I am sure," said a soldier of the Borsa battalion with the call sign Nazik.
Earlier, on March 2, Russian military personnel told on the course of the fighting near Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR. Fighters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation strike targets in the area of the city. Their defeat is confirmed by footage from unmanned aerial vehicles.
