The Canadian privacy watchdog is seeking a court order that will oblige the owners of Pornhub and other similar portals to obtain the consent of all persons captured in the frame before publishing content. This was reported on March 4 by the agency Reuters.

In a statement, Privacy Commissioner Philippe Dufresne said he would press the Canadian pornography corporation Aylo to comply with the privacy act.

"To date, Aylo has not responded properly to the significant issues identified during the investigation. Privacy is a fundamental right, and people should be protected," he said.

The official also added that he had launched an investigation after a woman discovered that her ex-boyfriend had uploaded intimate videos and other images of her to Aylo sites without her consent.

The corporation itself stated in February 2024 that the incident that prompted the woman to file a complaint occurred in 2015, and since then the organization has taken a number of steps to prevent the posting of unauthorized materials on the site.

In 2020, Kaspersky Lab experts stated that employees working remotely could become victims of cybercriminals. To avoid this, you should not use the same device for personal and professional purposes, such as watching on it href="https://iz.ru/1008934/2020-05-08/eksperty-predupredili-ob-ugroze-bezopasnosti-pri-prosmotre-porno-na-udalenke"> pornographic videos.
