The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, who is in the Kiev pre-trial detention center Of Ukraine Alexander Dubinsky appealed to Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk with a demand to impeach the current president of the country Vladimir Zelensky. He said this on March 3 in the Telegram channel.

"Today, on March 3, 2025, I sent an official appeal to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk demanding to initiate the impeachment procedure of President Vladimir Zelensky," he said.

It is reported that the reason for making such a demand was the failure of Zelensky's negotiations with the president USA Donald Trump in the White House, as a result of which the country "lost the unconditional support of the United States."

In his appeal, Dubinsky demanded the immediate convening of an extraordinary session of parliament to consider the creation of a special investigative commission, as well as the issuance of signature lists to collect the necessary signatures of deputies to begin impeachment proceedings.
