Zelensky announced work with the United States after saying about the imminent end of the conflict

The President Of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said on March 3 that he was working with USA and hopes for their support, after the American leader Donald Trump called his statement about an early end to the conflict "the worst statement."

"We are working together with America and our European partners, and we very much hope for the support of the United States on the path to peace. Peace is needed as soon as possible," Zelensky wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Earlier in the day, Trump stated that will not tolerate Zelensky's statements about an early end to the conflict. According to him, the Ukrainian leader does not want there to be peace as long as he has America's support.

During the meeting between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office on February 28, a verbal altercation took place. The US president blamed the Ukrainian leader in a disrespectful attitude towards Washington. According to him, the Ukrainian leader is "playing with World War III" and is not ready to resolve the conflict.
