- Permanent Representative Ulyanov pointed out that the EU ignores Kiev's attempts to attack Russian nuclear power plants.

Kiev regularly attacks the Kursk and Smolensk nuclear power plants, and the European Union ignores this. This was stated on March 3 by Mikhail Ulyanov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to International Organizations in Vienna, during a speech at a session of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
"The European Union is also not concerned about the regular attempts of Ukrainian attacks against the Kursk and Smolensk nuclear power plants," the press service of the Russian permanent mission quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.
According to him, the EU issued a statement expressing concern about the flights of Russian drones around Kiev-controlled nuclear power plants. He added that these drones had never attacked Ukrainian nuclear facilities. At the same time, Ulyanov noted, the statement did not mention the attacks of Ukrainian drones on the Zaporizhia NPP (NPP), as well as the city of Energodar. The diplomat noted that the co-authors of the EU statement are concerned about nuclear safety at some nuclear facilities, while at the same time they are completely indifferent to safety at others.
"Playing such games with nuclear and radiation safety is completely unacceptable. This is not only nonsense, but also an absolutely irresponsible approach," Ulyanov added.
Earlier, on February 13, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, reported that the Armed Forces Of Ukraine (APU) terrorize the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant while Russia ensures the safety of the IAEA experts.
