The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC+) has confirmed plans to increase oil production from April 1, 2025. On March 3, this is stated in a statement OPEC.

"Countries with excess production have also agreed on early compensation so that most of the excess volumes are compensated in the first months of the compensation period, and will submit their updated compensation schedules to the OPEC secretariat by March 17, 2025, which will be posted on the secretariat's website," the organization said in a statement..
