Sergayeva suggested holding training camps for rhythmic gymnastics coaches

Training camps should be held for rhythmic gymnastics coaches, they should be able to work with children. "Probably, it is necessary to hold a series of training camps specifically for coaches. Because we have such a trend: today the former gymnast finished practicing on the carpet, and tomorrow she decided to become a coach," said Sergayeva.

She stressed that the athletes, having not received an education, are confident in their ability to train young gymnasts. Nevertheless, this is a serious job both with children and with their parents.

Sergayeva noted that there are a lot of clubs in Russia developing in a negative way, and this situation needs to be corrected. In particular, we need strict control over the coaches who work there, and they must have higher education. It is necessary to be able to work with children properly, because this is the younger generation, and in no case should you harm their psyche.

The head of the coaching staff of the Russian national team pointed out that mentors should understand the mood of the gymnast who came to the gym. If a coach allows himself to shout or humiliate an athlete, he demonstrates his helplessness. In such a situation, he should "dig into himself" and find out why he started behaving this way.
