One person was killed and three injured as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces Ukraine (AFU) in Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on March 3 by the head of the region Denis Pushilin.

He clarified that in the village of Gornyak, Kurakhovsky municipal district, a man was injured as a result of an explosion of a dangerous object. A civilian was killed in the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka, two more were injured due to the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using barrel artillery.

"The victims are receiving the necessary medical care," Pushilin wrote on his Telegram channel.

In addition, according to the head of the DPR, two residential buildings in the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka were damaged as a result of the attack by Ukrainian forces.

Pushilin noted that in total, more than 10 attacks using 155-mm barrel artillery and drones were carried out by Ukrainian militants during the day.

"We are pushing the enemy away from Horlivka so that they don't shell civilians."
