- The Russian Embassy announced the illegal crossing of the border by journalists from Denmark.

The Russian Embassy in Denmark announced that Danish journalists had again illegally crossed the border of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region. The corresponding statement appeared on the Telegram channel of the diplomatic mission on March 3.
As follows from the publication, on February 23, the Danish state television and radio company DR released a report by two journalists on their trip to the Sudzha district of the Kursk region, temporarily occupied by Ukrainian military personnel.
It was noted that this was not the first illegal visit by Danish reporters to the Kursk region. The embassy recalled that in October last year, representatives of the TV 2 television company appeared in the region.
"Danish journalists illegally crossed the state border of Russia and committed a crime for which criminal responsibility implies punishment," the statement said.
The embassy demanded that the Danish authorities urge DR employees, as well as the management of the broadcasting company, to respect Russian laws.
Earlier, on February 12, the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on href="https://iz.ru/1837982/2025-02-12/v-otnoshenii-ispanskogo-zhurnalista-vozbudili-delo-o-nezakonnom-peresechenii-granitcy-rf " target="_blank">illegal crossing of the Russian border against Spanish El Mundo journalist Alberto Rojas. The agency clarified that measures are being taken to establish his whereabouts and detain him.
