Air defense systems shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) near the city of Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov region. This was announced on March 3 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.
"Air defense forces repelled a UAV attack near Novoshakhtinsk. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage on the ground," Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel.
