Kia has extended the trademark registration period in Russia

Kia has extended the registration period for a number of trademarks in Russia. Izvestia was convinced of this by studying the open database of data from the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS; Rospatent).

Kia Ceed and Kia Rio X have appeared in the list of registered trademarks. Applications for them were submitted to Rospatent at the end of July 2024, they were registered and published in the database on March 3, 2025.

According to the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICTS), trademarks are registered in Class 12, which includes cars and vehicles. The copyright holder is Kia Corporation from Seoul. The expiration date of the exclusive right is July 29, 2034.
