The media reported about five victims as a result of shooting at a parade in the United States.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the evening of March 2, near the place where the Mardi Gras parade was held. The police believe that the shooting is linked to the activities of criminal gangs.

At the moment, there are three injured people in the hospital. One of them is in critical condition, and two others are stable, but they will need to be monitored by doctors.

The suspect, 18-year-old Jamerian Anders, was arrested and charged with attempted murder. The police do not rule out additional arrests, the TV channel said.

Earlier, on February 26, in Lancaster, Ohio a shooting occurred, as a result of which two people were killed and another injured. It was clarified that the 26-year-old man who opened fire was detained at the crime scene by a police officer who arrived. They had to use a weapon to do this, and the suspect is in the hospital.
