The "yellow" level of weather danger due to icy conditions has been declared in Moscow and the Moscow region until the evening of March 5. The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation reports on this on Monday, March 3.

"The warning period until 21:00 on March 5 is partly icy on the roads," the urban news agency quotes the message "Moscow".

Earlier in the day, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center, told RT that pleasant April warmth is expected in Central Russia on March 8.

Earlier, on February 27, the weather forecaster noted that a radiation thaw had begun in Moscow, reports NSN.

He explained that this refers to an increase in air temperature to positive values under the influence of solar radiation. This is facilitated by the heat output of objects heated in the sun, the minimum amount of snow cover and the anticyclone established in the region.

On February 23, Wilfand announced that temperature drops to -13 degrees, frosts may persist until the 20th.
